who am i?

​

​

Born in the US, raised in Panamá, Ana has found a home in the theatrical stage and the lens of a camera everywhere she goes. 

 

She has completed her Acting MFA at The New School (New York) after graduating from a Bachelor's in Arts Administration, Drama, and Film from the University of Virginia.  

​

In 2022, she premiered her first leading role in "The Farm" (selected for The 2022 Sitges Film Festival) a Panamanian horror film by Alberto Serra alongside Isabella Sierra (Reina del Sur, Telemundo). That same year, she she played Nina Rosario in In The Heights at The National Theatre in Panama (which she also produced). 

​

Following her official move to NYC, she is currently the Female Swing in "El Otro Oz"at The Atlantic Theatre and made her Lincoln Center debut showcasing the upcoming production of "La Llamada" from Repertorio Español.

 

As an upcoming filmmaker, Ana has directed, edited, and written various short films such as "You Can't Move", selected for the 2021 Los Angeles Horror Film Festival and "The Morning After", winner of the first place in  Hayah Festival de Cortometrajes en Panama and selected for New York Independent Cinema Awards, Lift Off Festival & Katra Film Festival in USA

She is currently in post-production for her new romance horror short "Close to Home" expected to premiere in Fall 2024.

  •  Played one of her dream roles: Natalie Goodman (Next to Normal) at one of her dream venues, the National Theatre of Panama (2023)

​

  • Created and co-directed her new horror-romance short film "Close to Home"(2023) alongside Jane Skapek, starring herself and Simon Tejeira.

​

  • Made her Lincoln Center solo debut at Teatro Fest '24 showcasing for Repertorio Español's new musical "La Llamada".

​

  • Got her first off-broadway credit as "Female Swing" in El Otro Oz at The Atlantic Theatre.
